REGA io amplifier

We have been a huge supporter of Rega turntables for four decades now but have not carried their electronics, aside from phono pre-amplifiers. However their newly released io amplifier was just too good to pass up. A compact, no frills, yet great sounding analogue-based amplifier, the io delivers a performance well beyond its price point. As you would expect, there is a high quality built-in MM (moving magnet) phono stage, two line-level inputs, a remote control and a high quality headphone output that is cleverly integrated to deliver optimum performance without compromising the audio circuit. Add a turntable (Rega preferably) and a pair of compact speakers (Triangle or B&W) and you have a simple, compact but surprisingly good system at a realistic price. Rega io: $899.
