LOEWE GOES GOLD

While the revived Loewe has a big focus this year on its youth-orientated ‘We. by Loewe’ range, at CES it was showing off its luxurious side with a special gold-plated edition of its bild s.77, of which it will create only 99 numbered units to celebrate its 99th birthday. A gold-plated badge (below) is engraved with its edition number; Loewe’s signature ‘ring’ is gold-plated solid brass, and the TVs will come with a book detailing the history of Loewe, plus a ‘personal greeting’ from Loewe’s management team. As with all s.77 models the display rises up when the TV is activated, revealing the integrated soundbar.

If this is for its 99th, we can only imagine what Loewe may reveal for its centenary next year, or in 2031 for the 100th anniversary of Loewe’s world’s first fully-electronic television revealed at the 8th Berlin Radio Show!
