Nice-price 98-incher from TCL

At CES, TCL gained great oohs and ahhs for a new 98-inch model from its XL Collection, the TCL 98R754 4K QLED Google TV with Dolby Vision, which is launching in the US at a remarkably low US$8000. When we contacted TCL locally to ask if and when this nice-price monster might arrive Down Under, they pointed out that we got the local equivalent back on Black Friday: the 98-inch C735 (currently with Android TV, but soon to get a Google TV update). The price here is $9999, which seems even more impressive.

TCL also showed the thinnest 8K Mini LED TV prototype yet, plus wearable glasses using a binocular (don’t say ‘3D’) Micro-LED display powered by holographic waveguide lenses.
