BEST INTEGRATED HOME LEVEL III WINNER BRIDGER AUTOMATION

ALSO WON ARCHITECTURAL CATEGORIES ‘TECHNOLOGY MEETS DESIGN’ & ‘LIFE LIVED BEST AT HOME’

-

Bridger not only wins the Integrated Home Level III (A$250k to A$450k) from the main CEDIA judges with this project, it also won two architectural categories that are evaluated by a local panel of experts from the building design industry. The integrator has worked with this particular client on four separate occasions, with this one being a dual-level luxury home set along the Coomera River, which now has a feature set fit for a Hollywood movie star or billionaire CEO.

Bridger Automation installed an RTI automation system to control all lighting, security, audio and video zones throughout this home, including 12 independently-controlled AV zones, six with video zones and six audio-only. Control interfaces include tablet and phone apps, or handheld RTI remote controls. Regardless of the function taking place, the client has complete control, as was requested.

The home is inside a gated community, but the client emphasised the need for additional security, executed with subtlety. Cameras are located throughout the property inside and out. Security keypads are largely replaced by app control, remote access, wireless keyring remotes, and panic button switches. A video IP intercom controls access to the front gate from any internet-enabled app. All these systems tie into the estate’s 24/7 back-to-base alarm system, with on-site patrolling guards.

The design judges remarked: “It’s clear that this was a huge undertaking and collaboration between many skilled stakeholders, resulting in a superb outcome for both the homeowner and the provider.”
