JBL Link View due for Xmas

Among the hundred-odd new products on show at the large but private-invite-only Harman complex at the IFA showgrounds, we reckon the one most likely to get attention quickly is the JBL Link View. This takes JBL’s successful Link product series of wireless Google speakers to another level, adding an eight-inch touchscreen and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. While the Link View doesn’t have a video Chromecast inside, it does have an audio Chromecast, and can access YouTube, with Voice Assistant onboard which can accept commands, make Google Duo calls and interact with other smart home Google-compatible products — for example we were shown how it could be used to monitor security cameras. It sounded pretty good too, from the limited demo we enjoyed.
