CES 2018: KLIPSCH DEBUTS GOOGLE ASSISTANT SPEAKERS

Klipsch is following in the footsteps of other audio companies such as JBL and Sony, will be incorporat­ing Google Assistant into its Heritage Wireless table-top speakers, The Three and The One model.

The company says, “the Three and The One with the Google Assistant built in blend nostalgic midcentury modern design, award-winning acoustic performanc­es, and robust connectivi­ty with the addition of a personal, helpful assistant.”

These new speakers will be available in special edition finishes, with its design and sound remaining consistent with the standard editions of each speaker.

Klipsch Heritage Wireless speaker, The Three is a stereo tabletop with an integrated subwoofer for enhanced bass. Klipsch Heritage Wireless speaker, The One is a smaller, semi-portable tabletop speaker with a rechargeab­le battery for placement versatilit­y. Both speakers incorporat­e a mid-century modern design, premium materials such as real wood veneer and copper switches and knobs, and Bluetooth wireless technology.

Klipsch Heritage Wireless speaker, The Three with the Google Assistant built in is priced at US$499 and The One with the Google Assistant built in will be US$349. The Three will be available later this year and The One will be early 2019.

Pricing for Australia has not yet been announced.
