KIN­GAROY SPEED­WAY Satur­day

THE speed­way com­mu­nity will be get­ting into the fes­tive spirit at the club’s fi­nal meet­ing of the year from 4pm. A Queens­land ti­tle will be on the line in the light­ning sprints, V8 su­per sedans will be rac­ing, wing­less sprints will be com­pet­ing in the IBRP su­per se­ries and a strong field is ex­pected in the mod­i­fied sedans.

KIN­GAROY TOY RUN Satur­day

MO­TOR­BIKE riders will come from far and wide to spread Christ­mas joy, with hun­dreds of toys to be do­nated to the Sal­va­tion Army as part of the an­nual Christ­mas toy run. Riders will meet at Kin­garoy Mitre 10 from 11am be­fore parad­ing through town.

WONDAI PARKRUN Satur­day

SATUR­DAY will mark 100 parkrun events in the South Bur­nett and the run­ning com­mu­nity will be cel­e­brat­ing the mile­stone on the rail trail at 7am. The event will cater for run­ners of all lev­els, who will be sup­ported through the 5km dis­tance.

YAR­RA­MAN CHRIST­MAS CAR­NI­VAL Satur­day

SANTA Claus will be mak­ing an ap­pear­ance at Yar­ra­man’s Christ­mas Car­ni­val at the re­cre­ation grounds from 5–8pm. At the event, spon­sored by the Yar­ra­man Progress As­so­ci­a­tion, the win­ners of the town’s Christ­mas tree dis­play com­pe­ti­tion will be an­nounced and there will be a jump­ing cas­tle, trea­sure hunt, live en­ter­tain­ment and raf­fles.

KUMBIA CHRIST­MAS CAR­NI­VAL Sun­day

THE Kumbia com­mu­nity will come to­gether for their an­nual Christ­mas car­ni­val at the town hall from 5pm. The car­ni­val will fea­ture the town’s tra­di­tional fes­ti­val of Christ­mas trees, face paint­ing and rides.
