Festive cheer to abound in CBD for Christmas in the City

South Western Times - - News -

Bunbury will come alive with festive cheer on Sunday when the popular Christmas in the City event returns to the CBD.

The community is invited to be merry at the free family-friendly event at Bicentennial Square and Graham Bricknell Memorial Music Shell.

The festival kicks off at 3pm with an inflatable snow dome complete with swirling confetti set to be a centrepiece of the event. There will also be Christmas-themed mini golf, arts and crafts workshops, market stalls, food trucks and other free activities.

The RAC Street Parade will roll through the CBD from 5.30pm followed by the Apprentice and Traineeship Company Carols Concert at 7pm.

A free carols booklet will be available on the night from the City of Bunbury information tent.

Coordinated by Good Nights, the concert will include performances from a selection of Bunbury Geographe’s best bands, choirs and musicians.
