League AGM to discuss many topics
The South West Football League will hold its annual general meeting tonight at Hands Oval from 6.30pm, with a number of important issues to be covered.
League general manager Simone Nani told the she was hopeful all elected members across executive and committee-based positions were enthusiastic about football’s future in the South West.
“We will also look at the finance review for the football financial year, president’s report, followed by the election of the SWFL executive and league committees,” she said.
“Also discussed will be any life member nominations.”
Having taken over the general manager position from John Vidos, Nani has been busy during the offseason consulting with a variety of football stakeholders.
“I’ve been spending a lot of time meeting existing and new sponsors for the 2019 season,” she said.
“We are also currently working on the preparation of the players points system and the fixtures.
“The off season is a time to reflect on what worked well in 2018 and what we can improve on.”
