MARCH TO THE QUEENS’ DRUM
Drummer Queens in rhythm to get loud for world-class theatrical extravaganza
Girl-power like you’ve never seen it before will take the stage at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre when Drummer Queens head down south.
After a knockout Sydney world premiere season, percussionists Drummer Queens are bringing their live and loud production on a regional tour.
Bunbury is in for a treat as Western Australia’s own Georgia Anderson joins the talented all-female cast of eight to deliver a world-class theatrical experience that will leave a lasting impact.
Created and composed by Joe Accaria, co-created and directed by Nigel Turner-Carroll and with choreography by Peta Anderson, the show features uplifting beats and inspiring skills as the cast bangs, drums and flips through an evening of fun.
An all-star cast of Georgia Anderson, Peta Anderson, Stef Furnari, Niki Johnson, Salina Myat, Lisa Purmodh, Claudia Wherry and Ned Wu with Sasha Lian Diaz and Astrid Holz as swing performers will leave the audience awe-struck at the blend of movement and rhythm.
Perth is the first stop on the WA leg of the tour, before the team head to Albany, Mandurah and then Bunbury on Thursday, June 24 at 7.30pm.
