College and City win waste awards
Manea Senior College and the City of Bunbury have been recognised for their work in recovering value from waste and protecting the environment.
Both organisations have picked up gongs at the 2021 WasteSorted Awards after being interviewed and assessed by a panel.
The City of Bunbury was a joint winner in the 2021 Waste Initiative of the Year award for its Public FOGO Bins Program, alongside DevelopmentWA for its OneOneFive Hamilton Hill Project.
Manea picked up the WasteSorted School of the Year title.
The Shire of the Collie was also commended in the Avoid Recovery Protect — WA Regional Waste Award.
