Dalyellup to bolster lead

Dalyellup can extend its buffer at the top of the SWSA premier men’s table when they travel to basement-bound Bunbury United on Sunday.

The Rangers, narrowly pipped for the title by Dunsborough last season, have been near-faultless in 2021 and should fancy their chances of adding to an already imposing +15 goal difference.

In the premier women’s competition, all eyes will be on the Capes derby between Football Margaret River and reigning champions Busselton City on Saturday afternoon.

City, who lost a number of players during the off-season, are not only yet to win a game, but are also struggling to score goals.

In 2020, they scored a staggering 103 goals, including 31 in the first four matches. This season to date, City have scored four.
