THE Time for Heroes exhibition on the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence opens at Parliament House on Friday, November 9. The exhibition commemorates the sacrifice and courage of Poles saving Jews. It also tells the story of Captain Witold Pilecki, who founded the underground organisation at Auschwitz. It runs until Thursday, November 15.
