Wit­nesses to crash sought

PO­LICE have called for wit­nesses to a crash that took place in Vic­to­ria Park last month in which a man and a woman were se­ri­ously in­jured.

Traf­fic En­force­ment Group of­fi­cers say a 59year-old woman was driv­ing a blue 1994 Ford Laser hatch­back along Ber­wick Street away from Can­ning High­way on Fri­day, Au­gust 3 at 10.20pm.

She lost con­trol of her car near Armagh Street and it crossed the car­riage­way, crash­ing into a red 2014 Alfa Romeo Gi­uli­etta hatch­back trav­el­ling in the op­po­site di­rec­tion on Ber­wick Street.

The driver of the Ford re­ceived se­ri­ous head and leg in­juries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospi­tal.

The driver of the Alfa Romeo, a 45-year-old woman, es­caped with mi­nor in­juries but her 54year-old male pas­sen­ger re­ceived se­ri­ous in­juries.

Both were taken to Royal Perth Hospi­tal.
