Credit cards used in fraud
TWO bankcards stolen from a letterbox in Rivervale last month have been used fraudulently to rack up more than $1300 in illegal purchases.
Belmont police said the cards were used at stores across Belmont, Cloverdale and Ascot since being stolen from a Cleaver Street letterbox between Sunday, October 14, and Tuesday, October 16.
They would like to speak to a woman captured on CCTV wearing a grey shirt under a black jacket and dark coloured pants.
She is described as darkskinned, 25 to 35 years old with a medium build and long dark hair.
