Good win for young Cats

FIN­LEY’S un­der-15s net­ballers had an­other great win on Satur­day.

Dif­fer­ent com­bi­na­tions were tried in the goals and through the mid court which led to the 43-12 vic­tory over home side Mul­wala.

The team is re­ally work­ing well to­gether.

The Thomas Fam­ily award went to Sarah Tay­lor who re­sponded to the rev up at train­ing and had an ex­cel­lent game at GK.

The other award went to Mil­iana Naicori for her dis­ci­plined play and drive through the mid court.

C Re­serve went down to third-placed Mul­wala 68-11.

It was a tough and phys­i­cal game against an older, more ex­pe­ri­enced side whose goalers were ex­tremely ac­cu­rate.

Dim­ity worked tire­lessly in the goal ring to take out the Fin­ley Gym award while Ce­leste took out the Bar­bers Shoex award for her great work in the cen­tre.

In other re­sults, A grade went down 41-68, B grade won 53-41, C grade lost 67-9 (awards: Streufex - Kel­lie Um­back, Daisy Mae’s - Kylie Ed­wards 0, the un­der-17s went down in a 21-19 thriller and the club’s U-13s were vic­to­ri­ous 38-29 (Awards: Ebony Loomes, Bronty Rus­sell and Chloe O’Brien).
