A mixed qual­ity yard­ing was pre­sented for the reg­u­lar field of buy­ers.

A lim­ited num­ber of good qual­ity veal­ers met strong de­mand from the trade, with prices re­main­ing firm for most cat­e­gories.

In the young cat­tle draft, medium and heavy weight C3 vealer steers made from 192c to 243c, av­er­ag­ing 216c/kg for the heavy weights.

Bet­ter yield­ing B3 veal­ers topped at 249.2c/kg.

Heavy C3 vealer heifers av­er­aged 207c af­ter sell­ing to 238c/kg. Heavy year­ling C3 steers made from 180c to 220c, av­er­ag­ing 201c/kg to the trade.

In the grown steer of­fer­ing, good qual­ity medium weight C3 lots made to 195c, av­er­ag­ing 188c/kg.

Heavy weight steers av­er­aged 180c/kg.

The bul­locks mostly sold around 175c/kg. In the cow pens, heavy D3 and D4 beef cows made from 136c to 152c to av­er­age in the mid to late 140c/kg range.

Dairy bred D2 cows made from 127c to 136c/kg to pro­ces­sors.
