Cobram too good

Southern Riverina news - - Local Classies -

THE second half saw the Cats improve and make their mark on the scoreboard.

Tom Seccull worked himself into the game and kicked five goals for the half.

Matt and Marcus Jackson were leading the defensive effort.

Paul Massingham and Will Robertson also worked hard.

The Cats gave their supporters something to cheer about but were no match for their opponents.

A bye this week offers the Cats a chance to regroup and ready themselves for what will be a challenging clash with the hard to beat Deniliquin.

They will need to regain serious momentum in the home run to the finals.

The reserves battled hard all day to go down narrowly to secondplaced Cobram by nine points.

Jordan Daniels, Damien Sexton, Josh Patterson, Todd Carlon, Tom Potter and Paul Evans all played well for the home team.
