Big field for Tocumwal Chal­lenge Bowl

ABOUT 80 lady golfers played the Pres­i­dent’s course re­cently vy­ing for the pres­ti­gious Tocumwal Chal­lenge Bowl.

This was a stable­ford event and played in teams of three.

Clubs rep­re­sented were Ber­ri­gan, Co­bram-Ba­rooga, Corowa, Greenacres, Hill Top, Koorin­gal, Nu­murkah, Rich River, Yar­ra­wonga and Tocumwal.

Ber­ri­gan blitzed the field com­ing in with a to­tal of 106 points to take out the Bowl and also the small teams event.

Run­ner-up

for

the bowl was Tocumwal with 98 points.

Jan­ice Graham from Ber­ri­gan won the in­di­vid­ual B grade tro­phy with 39 points which was also a good enough re­sult to give her the Vet­er­ans tro­phy.

A grade win­ner was Jill Collins from Tocumwal on 38 points, and C grade went to Beth Cranston from Co­bram-Ba­rooga on 30 points.
