Two make Sunday’s grand final
FINALS fever is in the air and Berrigan have the thirds and firsts playing off in the grand final this Sunday, at Berrigan.
Come along and show your support.
Berrigan Football Club are setting up the football rooms on Saturday, September 11 at 1pm .
Any help welcome and slices or cakes can be dropped off.

●●● The next Berrigan Old Time Dance will be held at the Cox Hall on Tuesday, September 20, starting at 7.30pm.
The next Friday night dance will be held on September 30, starting at 7.30pm.
Entertainment will be supplied by Bohuns Music from Albury Wodonga.
●●● Berrigan Red Cross will reopen the food bank on Tuesday, September 13 from 2pm3pm, operating from the rear of the Old Shire Building.
The appeal for East Africa will remain open until Wednesday, September 15.
●●● The Country Women’s Association ex- tend an invitation to attend a session on reflexology on the hands when Christine Milton will be at the rooms at 11am on Monday, September 12.
Everyone is welcome to have a cuppa, the morning is free.
●●● An evening of light entertainment featuring the barber shop quartet ‘Silver Fox’ will be held at the Berrigan War Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 17 at 7pm.
A two course meal, for $20 per head, will be served. Bar facilities will be available (please bring own drink).
For catering purposes please purchase your tickets at Peppertree. The evening is sponsored by Berrigan CWA.
●●● On Wednesday, Sep- tember 14 Eronis Circus will perform at the Berrigan Showgrounds.
Tickets are $15, and the show starts at 7.30pm.
●●● The Canola Festival is on again on the weekend of September 17 and 18.
A tractor trek will begin at 10am on Saturday.
On Sunday, there will be a market held at the showgrounds and the Lions Club will be cooking breakfast from 7.30am.
The annual street parade will begin from the showgrounds at 8.30am and make its way to the main street.
There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
●●● The Joan Davis rose show will be held on October 22 from 11am to 2pm.
Exhibits to be at the Madill Centre by 9am.
This year the committee will include two new sections - one for the children (decorated saucer) and also an exhibition of your favourite cup, saucer and plate.
●●● The staff of the Berrigan Public School would like to invite parents of potential Kindergarten enrolments for 2012 to an information evening.
The evening will be held tonight at 7pm, in room two.
