THE Berrigan Lions Club is inviting everyone to the annual Golden Canola Festival this weekend in Berrigan.
This fantastic event kicks off with a ‘Tractor Trek’ on Saturday at the Berrigan Sportsground.
Then on Sunday don’t miss the Lions cooked breakfast from 7.30am followed by the colourful street parade.
The popular parade typically includes floats, tractors, trucks and much much more.
There’s also the market, lawnmower races, Country Energy Vintage Tractor Pull, Harley Davidson and tractor and engine display.
For great family fun don’t miss the Golden Canola Festival.
The children will be entertained all day with the jumping castle, face painting and children’s competitions.
A barbecue lunch will be available courtesy of the Lions, together with icecreams, coffee, pancakes and donuts. Delicious.
After a slow start this spring, the wonderful weather has brought out some fantastic canola crops across the district.
Drive in any direction and you can see a golden glow over the country- side - what better way to celebrate our beautiful region than the Canola Festival?
Whether you are a local, or visiting the area, there is good times to be had at the Golden Canola Festival this Saturday and Sunday.
The Berrigan Lions Club would like to sincerely thank the sponsors for making this wonderful event possible.
