Southern Riverina news - - Jerilderie Gold Cup -

ALL roads lead to Jerilderie this weekend for the annual Jerilderie Gold Cup.

What better way to celebrate the start of spring than to see country racing at its best.

The six-race event is set to be the social highlight of Jerilderie's sporting calendar as locals and visitors alike set the pace for the spring racing carnival.

Race club president Kieran Raleigh said it is shaping up to be a remarkable weekend with nominations in, fine weather forecast and marquees set in perfect spring conditions.

There will be something to entertain all ages this Saturday in- cluding free children's entertainment, local and metropolitan bookmakers, full bar and catering and fashions on the field.

Best of all the weather looks to be picture perfect with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting 24 degrees and mostly sunny for Saturday.
