New teacher at Fin­ley cam­pus

Caro­line Vella (pic­tured) is the new Com­mu­nity Ser­vices teacher at Fin­ley and De­niliquin Rive­rina In­sti­tute of TAFE cam­puses.

Ms Vella is one of 50 new teach­ers who have been in­ducted into the Rive­rina In­sti­tute of TAFE this year.

She is teach­ing Certificate IV and Diploma of Com­mu­nity Ser­vices for peo­ple who wish to work in sup­port­ing peo­ple in the com­mu­nity.

Ms Vella has worked all over NSW, com­ing from Dubbo to live and work in De­niliquin.

‘‘I am very pleased to be here. It’s a great cam­pus with a great team, and very wel­com­ing peo­ple.

‘‘It’s a busy cam­pus with lots hap­pen­ing and I’m re­ally look­ing for­ward to get­ting into the teach­ing,’’ Ms Vella said.

Di­rec­tor of Rive­rina In­sti­tute Kerry Penton wel­comed Ms Vella.

‘‘Our staff are renowned for their pas­sion and com­mit­ment.

‘‘Be­cause of our staff and their ded­i­ca­tion to their pro­fes­sion, Rive­rina In­sti­tute has de­vel­oped a rep­u­ta­tion for in­no­va­tion and pro­fes­sion­al­ism in de­liv­er­ing the right skills to the mar­ket, when, where and how they are needed.’’

Ms Vella has be­gun teach­ing at Fin­ley and De­niliquin.
