A car parked at the Fin­ley Re­cre­ation Re­serve on Satur­day night was dam­aged and vom­ited on.

The car was left at about 11pm on Satur­day night, and when the owner re­turned about 8.30am on Sun­day a side mir­ror was smashed and there were dents and vomit on the bon­net.

Po­lice be­lieve the car may have been walked on.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact po­lice.

A 20 year-old De­niliquin man has been charged with drink driv­ing af­ter be­ing stopped for a ran­dom breath test on the Rive­rina High­way at Blighty about 7.15pm on Satur­day.

He al­legedly re­turned a pos­i­tive read­ing and was con­veyed to De­niliquin Po­lice Sta­tion where a read­ing of 0.089 was recorded.

He will ap­pear in De­niliquin Court on May 22. His li­cense was sus­pended.

Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the break-in of a Tocumwal home, where a tele­vi­sion was stolen.

Po­lice were called to the home about 10.30pm on Fri­day af­ter a neigh­bor re­ported see­ing a torch light in­side.

On in­spec­tion, po­lice found the rear door forced open. A tele­vi­sion is be­lieved to be the only thing stolen, de­spite a num­ber of draws be­ing dis­turbed.
