Under 11s: The little catters started the season with great style winning by an impressive 15 goals! Savannah Wilson and Sarah Orro shot beautifully, allowing the defenders no chance to get any rebounds. Kezley Murphy-riddell and Johannah Tessier took some amazing intercepts and passed extremely well into the goal circle, Keeley was very strong in defence working well with Bella. Sarah Haynes always had her hands over the ball and passed the ball wonderfully. The girls combined beautifully having a great game.

Under 12s: We had a great game against Tocumwal, winning convincingly 35 to 2. Great recovery after last week’s disappointing loss by one to Mulwala. Chelsea Taylor won the award for strong shooting and defence. Great games were also had by Eloise and Dora. Well done Girls! Under 13s: No Game. Under 15s: Won convincingly, 52 to 15.

Under 17s: The girls had a great game playing consistent, strong netball for the four quarters. Finley had strength all over the court winning 37 to 10. Emma Miles made Finley’s intention clear early, taking four intercepts in the first quarter.

Beth shot beautifully earning herself best on, whilst Zoe was reliable in WA gaining the Hong Loch award. All girls had great games.

C reserve: A blistering start by our attack end, putting perfectly into play what we practised on Thursday, but unable to take the win with a score of 49 to 54.

Great shooting and movement by Bec and Dayna. Steph read the play beautifully in defence, taking numerous intercepts and teamed well with Loren. Great drives in the centre with Libby who was ably supported by Karen, Mia, Melissa and Celeste. Awesome effort girls. Awards: Stephanie Vance, Libby Small.

C grade: In a very close game we were lucky to come away with the 4 points, getting up by one goal at the final whistle to win 41 to 40.

It was a hard fought battle but silly mistakes nearly cost us the game. We need to work on minimising errors and remaining steady and consistent for all four quarters.

The pressure placed on our opponents by Di, Ricki and Rene´ e throughout the midcourt was also great to see.
