Golf buggy joyride

Be­tween 7.30pm Satur­day, May 5 and 8.45am Sun­day, May 6 a golf buggy at the Fin­ley Golf Club was re­moved from the shed and driven around the club house and onto a green.

The buggy was re­turned to the shed, but the wind­screen had been smashed and a tyre punc­tured.

●●● At 2pm on Fri­day, May 4 a 27 year old from May­field was stopped by po­lice on the Newell Hwy at Jer­ilderie

Checks re­vealed the ve­hi­cle was un­reg­is­tered and unin­sured, and the driver was is­sued in­fringe­ment no­tices.

●●● At 9.40pm on Fri­day, May 4 a 60 year-old Fin­ley man was stopped on the Newell High­way in Tocumwal.

He re­port­edly pro­duced a li­cence which was ex­pired and the reg­is­tra­tion of the ve­hi­cle was also ex­pired.

He re­ceived an in­fringe­ment no­tice for be­ing un­li­censed and un­reg­is­tered.

●●● Be­tween 3pm Fri­day, May 4 and 10am Satur­day, May 5 a child’s scooter was stolen from the front yard of a Hed­ford St home in Fin­ley. It was later re­cov­ered in Os­borne St.
