Invasion accused extradited
A 45 year-old man believed to be involved in a Finley St home invasion in Finley in January has been extradited to NSW to face charges.
Three people are alleged to have assaulted two Finley St residents earlier this year.
The woman was stabbed in the neck and was left with other serious head and skull injuries.
The man was treated for severe facial lacerations.
Both were taken to Goulburn Valley Base Hospital in Shepparton.
Before the 45 year-old man could be arrested by NSW Police on the matters, he was arrested in Victoria.
He has been in custody in the neighboring state since January 18.
He was released earlier this month and has been detained pending approval for extradition.
Bendigo Magistrates Court approved the request on July 18.
The man was charged and refused bail.
He is expected to appear again, at Albury Court, on July 30.
