Missing tiger found

Southern Riverina news - - News -

Carl White’s beautiful big fibre glass tiger, which disappeared from his Jerilderie St front garden on Saturday night, has been found behind the Sports Club.

Perhaps it was a fanatical Richmond supporter, or a person with a penchant for large cats, who took a fancy to the tiger.

Carl has gone to a great deal of trouble, and not a little expense, to make his front garden a place to attract passers-by, with colourful fibre glass birds, animals and a huge American Indian on display.

To add insult to injury, the thief or thieves broke off one of the tigers legs to remove it from where it was tethered in the garden.

Because of the theft Carl removed all the other creatures from the garden, which now looks somewhat empty and forlorn.

Hopefully this was a one off, maybe fuelled by a little too much celebrating, and Carl’s fantasy garden can be returned to what it was before the tiger lost a leg.
