Savernake plans special open day
Savernake Public School will be celebrating NSW Public School Education Week on Thursday, August 2 with an Open Day.
All families, friends and community members are invited to attend, and see what is happening at the school.
The activities begin at noon, when visitors are invited into the classrooms to see some of the learning activities in which the children are involved.
The children will entertain their audience and demonstrate their technology skills using the interactive white boards.
Following the classroom session, visitors are invited to join the students for a barbecue lunch in the picturesque school grounds.
Savernake Public School is a small school, situated in the southern area of the Riverina.
Part of the Bangerang Learning Community, the school is a CAP funded school.
It offers a unique educational opportunity with strong support from parents.
Savernake Public School is a one teacher school with 19 children in a highly supportive rural community.
