Hotel wrestler arrested
A 21 year-old Berrigan man has been fined for allegedly wrestling with other patrons at a Chanter St venue on Saturday.
Police were called to the venue about 9.15pm on Saturday when staff became concerned about a large number of people.
When police arrived, they allegedly saw a man wrestling and trying to punch, kick and hit the person he was wrestling.
Police intervened and removed and restrained the man.
He has been fined for offensive behaviour.
●●● Police are investigating the malicious damage of a car parked in Jerilderie St, Jerilderie between noon and 4.15pm on Sunday.
When the owner returned they noticed a large white mark on the vehicle. On closer inspection, it was a large scratch down the passenger side.
There were also scratches on the front, rear door and rear quarter panel.
●●● A 51 year-old man has been arrested after failing to adhere to police direction.
About 12.15am Saturday, a group of males were walking near the Tocumwal station and were so loud police went to investigate.
Police say one of the men approached, using rude language and with open alcohol in his hands.
He was charged with offensive behaviour.
