Bull riders set for Ba­rooga

The very best bull riders from around Aus­tralia and the world are set to con­verge on Ba­rooga for one huge night of ex­treme bull rid­ing and sport­ing en­ter­tain­ment.

Forty of the most ac­com­plished bull riders in the na­tion have been con­firmed to com­pete in the $8,000 Ba­rooga on the Mur­ray Tour­ing Pro Se­ries pre­sented by Ware­house Train­ing on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 1 at the Ba­rooga Recre­ational Re­serve Sta­dium.

The event is shap­ing up to be one of the tough­est Pro­fes­sional Bull Rid­ing Tour­ing Pro Se­ries events of the year.

The field of riders con­sists of nu­mer­ous cur­rent and past Aus­tralian Cham­pi­ons, State Cham­pi­ons, Cir­cuit Cham­pi­ons from QLD, NSW, VIC, NT, NZ and SA, World Fi­nals qualifiers and mem­bers of the Aus­tralian World Cup Team, said PBR gen­eral man­ager Glen Young.

PBR events around the coun­try have been draw­ing huge at­ten­dances as more and more peo­ple wit­ness the ex­cite­ment of this ma­jor league bull rid­ing com­pe­ti­tion along with the stan­dard of pro­duc­tion that makes these events a must-see at­trac­tion.

Pro­fes­sional Bull Rid­ing is like any other ma­jor league sport­ing event - it is all about match­ing the best riders against the ab­so­lute tough­est bulls, which in turn cre­ates a level play­ing field and some very ex­cit­ing mo­ments that will keep the au­di­ence glued to the edge of their seats from start to fin­ish and hun­gry for more.

All points and money won from this com­pe­ti­tion also count to­wards the 2013 PBR World Fi­nals.

For those who have not ex­pe­ri­enced a PBR event be­fore, you can ex­pect non­stop ac­tion from the start of the event to the fin­ish.

For those who may blink and miss some­thing, the mega re­play screen and mul­ti­ple cam­era an­gles will of­fer slow mo­tion re­plays of each ride as well as tak­ing the au­di­ence inside the chute to see each rider pre­pare for their ride.

In ad­di­tion to the PBR Bull Ride a num­ber of other ac­tiv­i­ties have been in­cluded into the 2012 pro­gram, in­clud­ing the Ba­rooga Ute Show start­ing at 1pm, Bar­rel Rac­ing Demon­stra­tion with Rodeo Queen En­trant, Dani Quin­see, kids rides, food stalls, western cloth­ing stores and for the first time ever the XXXX Re­treat will be on site and giv­ing away a trip to XXXX Is­land val­ued at over $10 000 as well as a DJ di­rectly fol­low­ing the event.
