Break-in targets grog
Alcohol was stolen from Finley Recreation Reserve overnight on Friday.
Power to the building was turned off and the rear door was forced open.
Once inside, the bar fridge door was removed and the alcohol taken.
The cash register was also forced open, but there was no cash inside to be stolen.
A 38 year-old man was charged with assault after allegedly pushing a 36 year-old woman a number of times in an incident at a Berrigan home on Sunday about 6pm.
The man, who had a laptop in his hand, allegedly accused the woman of lying.
Police said the woman asked him to leave her home, but he refused.
He allegedly pushed the woman a number of times and smashed a phone against a wall to stop her from ringing police.
Police were eventually called to the scene, however the man had left.
The man was located and arrested at another address a short time later.
He was conveyed to Finley Police Station, where he was interviewed and charged with assault.
