Fin­ley kids play dress-ups

The fi­nal week of term pro­vided two op­por­tu­ni­ties to dress up for Fin­ley Pub­lic School stu­dents.

On Wed­nes­day last week, stud­ies on Aus­tralia cul­mi­nated in a theme day.

Jim Law­ton brought along his collection of stock whips and held an in­ter­ac­tive demon­stra­tion.

The day also in­cluded bush dancing, the cre­ation of a big Aus­tralia col­lage, a sausage siz­zle lunch and a friendly game of Aussie Rules foot­ball.

On Fri­day, stu­dents were asked to dress to the theme ‘What I want to be when I grow up’, with doc­tors, foot­ball play­ers, hair­dressers, po­lice­men and army men fea­tur­ing.

Liam Raf­ferty, Lenny Dat­toli and Lachy Twem­low is ‘Aussie’ dress-up.
