Southern Riverina news - - SPORT -

Jerilderie Netball Club has once again been one of the most dominant in the Picola & District Netball League with six out of seven teams qualifying for finals.

The Demons under-17s and under-13s both captured the minor premiership and will be out for premiership glory.

Both those junior teams will have the first week of finals off, while the under-15s are taking on the Deni Rovers in the qualifying final at Strathmerton on Saturday.

Also in action at Strathy will be the Demons’ A-graders and C-Reserve team.

The A grade Dees are taking on Picola league newcomer Tocumwal in what should be an awesome contest. The winner will get a crack at undefeated Strathmerton in the second semi final.

Jerilderie’s C-Reserve girls face a tough match against Mathoura.

On Sunday, the Demons B-graders will battle Picola United in a do-or-die elimination final at Deniliquin.

Jerilderie under-17s star Paige Nash will be an important finals player.
