A grade: Tocumwal 58 def. Jerilderie 42.
The Demons struggled to find their rhythm against quality opposition. The first quarter was even with neither side capitalising on the other’s mistakes. The second and third had the Demons unable to stop the slick passes into the goals, giving the Bloods a solid lead at three quarter time. Jerilderie showed some patient passages of play, however the ball just didn’t want to go through the ring.

B grade: Jerilderie 48 def. Toc 43.
The girls hold onto fifth spot by just one game with every match do-ordie from here on. The game against Tocumwal was tight from the first whistle. The pace was set in the first quarter with 25 goals being scored and the Demons trailing by one. A slight defensive reshuffle with Crystal Sanderson returning to the Demons’ side settled the girls, with Sanderson, Ali Gregory and Kendall Purcell getting their hands to the ball and sending it back their way to give the Dees a fourgoal lead at the main break.
Brooke Mitchel returned to the WD position for the final half and hunted anything high, ably assisted by Tia Williams in centre, whose passing was superb through the mid-court, and into the shooters Tash Shaw and Isabella Westwood. A couple of short periods of panic saw the Bloods peg back a couple of goals, but the Demons regrouped to get the win.
Awards: SRLP - Tia Williams; Jerilderie Sporties - Isabella Westwood.

The under-15s had their first loss of the season. Missing some girls to holidays and rep. sides saw the Dees using some under-13s who played great, but Tocumwal was just too good on the day. Jerilderie’s goalers both played a great game, rarely missing when they got the ball.
Awards: Magic Scissors - Isabella Catena; JNC - Casey DiLullo.
U/13s: Toc 23 def. Jerilderie 2.
U/11s: Well done to the girls who stepped up and played under-13s.
