Tocumwal Public School students Mackenzie Loughridge and Alex Laker competed at the Victorian Interschool Championships at Werribee’s National Equestrian Centre recently.

The two girls competed with over 40 other riders in their age group in dressage, show jumping, combined training, handy mount and show riding classes.

School principal Darren White said both girls rode extremely well and were great representatives for Tocumwal Public School.

‘‘They placed in the top 15 riders in most of their classes which is a wonderful achievement,’’ he said.

‘‘The girls were great ambassadors for TPS and they enjoyed being able to catch up with friends they made last year from other schools.

‘‘Congratulations on a superb competition.’’
