Ber­ri­gan’s C-Re­serve side flew the flag for the club again on Satur­day, beat­ing Yar­roweyah 48-33.

It was a bril­liant ef­fort by the de­fend­ers who ul­ti­mately won the game for the Saints. Awards went to Rachael Hamil­ton (Blue Door Cafe) and Jo Ruf­fin (Thom­son’s Ser­vice Cen­tre).

In A grade, Ber­ri­gan went down 56-30 de­spite ap­ply­ing good pres­sure.

Awards went to Jodi Hawes (Pep­pertree voucher) and Lisa Small (Win­gates).

It was a tough game for the B-graders who lost 58-38.

Awards went to Ar­lena Pyle (Fed­eral Ho­tel) and Bianca Mohr (BNC $20).

A close game with won­der­ful de­fence saw Ber­ri­gan’s un­der-17s go down 41-39. Awards went to Ally Barry (Pres­i­dent’s $5), Ta­mara Podesta (Phillips Fam­ily $5) and Kylee Hust­waite (Haintz Con­cret­ing $5).

The un­der-15s played one of their best game of the year in a 29-13 loss.

It was great to see the shoot­ers at­tempt­ing from all ar­eas and go­ing for re­bounds.

Awards win­ners were Tahlia Thom­son (Ber­ri­gan Take­away & Pizza), Kate Arnold (Can­teen) and Annabelle Phillips (Phillips Fam­ily $5).

The un­der-13s played well but went down 33-19, with awards go­ing to Amelia Alexan­der (can­teen), Shae Fen­nell (IGA $5) and Dana Karakai (Alexan­der Fam­ily $5).

Team­work in the un­der-11s game was awe­some. Their co-op­er­a­tion up and down the court led them to shoot an in­cred­i­ble 34 goals.

Awards went to Phoebe Holmes (Can­teen), Lucy Phillips (Bizzy Scis­sors) and Re­gan Fox (Ber­ri­gan Phar­macy Jelly Beans).
