Free sugar film
Everyone in the Finley area is invited to a free screening of the movie That Sugar Film at the Finley RS Club this Sunday.
Starting at 3pm, it is being hosted by Nimb Dental Clinic and encourages people to really look at what they are consuming and feeding their children.
Dentist Kritika Mehra says it is easy to consume sugar without even knowing it.
‘‘In this shocking film you follow Damon Gameau through his drastic change in diet, which includes having 40 teaspoons of sugar a day for 60 days,’’ Dr Mehra said.
‘‘This is the average daily intake for Australians. The film will reveal the astonishing amounts of sugar hidden in supposedly healthy foods on supermarket shelves and food you are also feeding your children.
‘‘It is a real wake up call to those of us that have never questioned what’s really in our food.’’
Dental professionals will be there on the day to answer any questions after the film.
The film is suitable for parents and adolescents only, and you should reserve a seat by calling 5883 1633. Professional, no obligation advice provided. If you have a query about any aspect of book publishing, phone 0409 447 609 or email [email protected]
