Finley contests Kelly finals
The Finley Public School girls’ football side competed in the Paul Kelly Cup at the Southern NSW Finals at Wagga on Monday last week.
They played a round robin against Lavington East, Leeton and Kooringal Pub- lic schools. Unfortunately for the Finley side, they were unable to qualify for the next round.
Although the girls didn’t win, they put in 100 per cent effort and showed true sportsmanship.
The sun was shining but the air was chilly.
The Bloods displayed great teamwork right throughout and came away with five wins.
