Finley On Satur­day the Trent Wood Monthly Medal was played with Colin McNa­mara card­ing 74-6-68 to claim the daily A Grade tro­phy along with both the scratch and net medals.

McNa­mara also took out the Cock of the Walk ti­tle, which gave him, as pre­dicted, his 100th (and 101st) medal be­fore Christ­mas.

Jenni Cor­co­ran with 91-20-71 in the ladies event claimed the daily tro­phy and both the scratch and net medals.

Bob Makkinga took the B Grade men’s tro­phy af­ter a count­back on 70 net.

The putting com­pe­ti­tion went to Tracy Jones with 30 putts.

Balls went to Tony Ryan (70), Locky Cald­well (71), Terry Emer­son (71) and Beth White (76).

NTP on the 18th went to Terry Emer­son and both ladies and men’s Her­itage NAGA tro­phies jack­pot­ted.

Ju­nior golfer Locky Cald­well col­lected the Ha­wova Hol­steins Tro­phy for the 18 hole Comp with 46 Stable­ford points leav­ing the field way back on Wed­nes­day.

Balls went to Barry Fa­hey (36) and Locky’s grand­fa­ther Leo McNa­mara (36).

Rand Wil­son claimed both NTPs on the 18th and the Matt Daniel NAGA tro­phy.

The Thurs­day 9 Hole Comp saw Bob Makkinga come out on top in a round of stable­ford with 27 points af­ter a count­back to claim the voucher.

Balls went to Bill Judd (27), Locky Cald­well (25), Barry Fa­hey (25), Tony Ryan (24) and Geoff Boscombe (24).

It was a ‘‘full-on’’ three weeks of catch-up golf, to­gether with the cel­e­bra­tions of 2016 Pre­sen­ta­tion Night cou­pled with the team tak­ing part in the Sum­mer Pen­nant at Yar­ra­wonga.

At the week­end Stable­ford Med­ley is pro­grammed on both days with the resched­uled fi­nal round of the Wil­son Cup to be played at Ber­ri­gan on Satur­day.

Finley ladies As this was the last of Wed­nes­day com­pe­ti­tion for the year the ladies played 9 holes and then had a Pre­sen­ta­tion Lun­cheon.

Wed­nes­day golf will re­sume early March 2017.

Golf can still be played through­out the sum­mer and also on week­ends.

Wed­nes­day re­sults: Naomi Pryse 9-Hole Stable­ford - win­ner Beth White (26) 25 pts, r/up Nella McNa­mara (37) 23 pts.

NTP: Anne Hard­ing 14th, Kath Klemke 13th; Ball win­ners: Mar­ian Ayres 20 pts, Kath Klemke 19,Kim Lawlor 18, Enid Bain 17. Tocumwal On Tues­day Tocumwal had 54 ladies play­ing a round of Par on the Cap­tain’s Course with Di­vi­sion One go­ing to Julie Penny with 2-up on c/back from Nola Stacey.

Di­vi­sion Two was won by Ador­ree Bai­ley with 5 up fol­lowed by Rhonda Lewis with 3 up.

Nola White­ford was the Di­vi­sion Three win­ner with 4 up with Mar­garet An­der­son 3-up the run­ner-up.

NTP went to Bev Richard (2nd) and He­len Bowman (17th).

Wed­nes­day saw 123 men play­ing stable­ford on the Pres­i­dent’s Course with Di­vi­sion One go­ing to Stephen Dep­peler with 38 pts on c/back from Paul Olsen.

Lou Richard was the Di­vi­sion Two win­ner with 41 pts fol­lowed by Fred Ross­bor­ough 38, and Di­vi­sion Three went to Kevin Morey with 38 pts on c/back from Alan Good.

Barry Mass­ing­ham was the Di­vi­sion Four win­ner with 43 pts fol­lowed by Ron­ald Ea­ton on 42.

NTP went to Michael Keen (2nd) and Philip Nunn (14th).

On Satur­day there were 51 ladies and 53 men play­ing stable­ford on the Pres­i­dent’s course with Pamela Richard- son (Ladies pres­i­dent) tak­ing out the ladies Di­vi­sion One with 36 pts fol­lowed by Kath­leen Gar­naut 35 (Hunt­ing­dale GC).

Di­vi­sion Two was won by Kath­leen Wil­liams with 42 pts, r/up Noe­lene Dun­comb 39 and Jan Camp­bell was the Di­vi­sion Three win­ner with 45 pts fol­lowed by Dianne Kemp 41.

NTP went to Eileen McGinn (2nd) and Bev Richard (18th).

In the Men’s Di­vi­sion One, Mal­colm Hart with 39 pts was the win­ner with Jason Bucha­nen tak­ing r/up.

Di­vi­sion Two went to Garry Fos­ter (Hawk­snest GC) with 43 pts fol­lowed by Kevin Waller 41.

De­nis Garner took out Di­vi­sion Three with a great score of 44 pts with r/up go­ing to John Simm 41.

NTP went to Kevin Waller (2nd) and Dennis Frost (18th).

Sun­day was a stroke event. There were seven ladies and 57 men.

Ladies win­ner was Kath­leen Gar­naut ( Hunt­ing­dale GC) with 69 net. Gar­naut also won NTP on the 2nd.

Men’s Di­vi­sion One scratch win­ner was Michael Cooper with 72 and the net win­ner was Terry Olsen with 71 net on c/back from Michael Cooper.

Hugo Jankov claimed the Di­vi­sion Two scratch with 78 and was also the net win­ner with 64 to take out the Monthly Medal.

Fred Ross­bor­ough was run­ner-up with 76 net while Terry McMa­hon was the Di­vi­sion Three scratch win­ner with 86 as well as the net win­ner with 67.

James Wil­son fol­lowed with 70 net.

NTP went to Terry McMa­hon (2nd) and Paul Olsen (17th).

Tocumwal’s 4BBB Pen­nant Team played Yar­ra­wonga at Yar­ra­wonga un­for­tu­nately go­ing down 4/1.
