Berrigan Public students had a wonderful day celebrating the school’s recent Aboriginal Cultural Day.

The school welcomed a special visitor, Mark Saddler, who is a Wiradjuri man who visits classrooms to share his love of Aboriginal history, art and stories.

Berrigan School principal Gayle Andriske said Mr Saddler had all students engrossed in finding out about Australia’s Aboriginal heritage.

She said he brought to life the Aboriginal culture through stories, music, art and games.

‘‘It was a wonderful and worthwhile experience for our students,’’ she said.

‘‘I heard so many positive comments from the stu- dents, and Mark was super impressed with their interest, questions and discussions.’’
