Ar­ti­sans join Toc. Farm­ers Mar­ket

A new Ar­ti­sans Mar­ket is be­ing es­tab­lished as part of the monthly Tocumwal Farm­ers Mar­ket.

The Ar­ti­sans Mar­ket com­po­nent will in­clude home­made goods such as ceram­ics, pho­tog­ra­phy, draw­ings and paintings, gar­den art, and pic­ture fram­ing just to name a few, co­or­di­na­tor Kerry Davies ex­plained.

It will be op­er­ated in con­junc­tion with the well-es­tab­lished Farm­ers Mar­ket, which was one of the first of its kind to be es­tab­lished in the lo­cal re­gion.

Kerry said it was also a first for the lo­cal re­gion where arti- san wares are ex­hib­ited and sold in a mar­ket en­vi­ron­ment.

Ar­ti­sans in­ter­ested in op­er­at­ing a stall are in­vited to con­tact Kerry on 0428 965 146.

The pop­u­lar Farm­ers Mar­ket is held in Tocumwal on the third Satur­day of each month, with the De­cem­ber event sched­uled for this week­end.

In ad­di­tion to the Ar­ti­sans Mar­ket, there will be the usual ar­ray of fresh food di­rect from the farm­ers, as well as de­li­cious cof­fee and egg and ba­con rolls with home­made chut­ney.

The Farm­ers Mar­ket starts at 8am on the Tocumwal Fore­shore.
