Man, 91, hit by reversing car
A 91 year-old man is still in a Shepparton hospital receiving treatment after being hit by a car in Finley last week.
Police said the man was struck by a reversing car in Murray St about 2pm on Tuesday.
The 21 year-old driver told police he did not see the man when trying to reverse.
The driver sought help from staff at a nearby shop and helped render first aid until paramedics arrived.
Police said they did not have an update on the man’s condition before the SOUTHERN RIVERINA NEWS went to print yesterday, as he was yet to be interviewed by police.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
