All of the Blighty senior grades were victorious at home against Yarroweyah on Saturday in the Picola and District Netball League’s north-west division.
Blighty’s A grade enjoyed a week off due to Yarroweyah not having a side.
The Redeyes’ A grade are fourth on the ladder at the half way mark of the season.
Blighty’s B grade showed their strength with a three-goal win in a nail-biting match, scores 39 to 36.
Redeyes shooter Charlea Blake, midcourter Sarah Cochrane and defender Edwina Hare were named the best players for their persistent hard work.
The victory was all the more sweet for playing coach Judy Plattfuss who celebrated her 500th game with the club.
In C grade spectators enjoyed another close match, with scores level frequently throughout the game.
However in the final quarter the Redeyes pulled away to a three-goal lead, the final score 28 goals to 25.
Agile Blighty defender Alana Coates was named best on court, while shooter Jess Smith and mid-courters Nikita Doyle and Emma Barker were also prominent in the win.
C-reserve came away with the biggest win of the day, defeating Yarroweyah by 10 goals, 37 to 27.
Blighty defender Lou Hamner was named best on court for her countless intercepts, while allrounder Lisa Landy and defender Nat Green were also awarded for their efforts.
The Blighty club person of the week went to Courtney Plattfuss.
