A public meet­ing re­gard­ing the Ber­ri­gan en­try signs and over­all town con­cept will be held on Wed­nes­day, July 5 at the Ber­ri­gan Com­mu­nity Club start­ing at 7pm.

Come along and have an in­put into the look of our com­mu­nity into the fu­ture. Ev­ery­one’s in­vited, young and old.

The evening will be pre­sented by John Lane, Mark Ryan and Chris­tine Mar­shall, with Ber­ri­gan Shire as­sis­tance.

Con­grat­u­la­tions to Bruce Rendell who um­pired his 300th se­nior game on June 17.

Bruce has been um­pir­ing for over 20 years and at all league lev­els.

A great achieve­ment by a quiet achiever.

The Ber­ri­gan Foot­ball Club has sent out in­vi­ta­tions for its an­nual Pa­tron’s Din­ner, which will be held Satur­day, July 8 at the clu­b­rooms af­ter the home game against Blighty.

For cater­ing pur­poses could you please RSVP to Ar­lena Pyle or Stu­art Schif­ferle.

The Ber­ri­gan Foot­ball Club will also be hold­ing the goods and ser­vices auc­tion on Satur­day, July 22. A meal will be served at this func­tion.

It is a great night and the com­mu­nity are in­vited to at­tend.

Tonight the Ber­ri­gan se­nior net­ballers will be coached by Robin Smith who did pre­sea­son with the club.

All se­nior play­ers are urged to at­tend. Train­ing starts at 6pm.
