Jer­ilderie’s A grade had a solid game against Blighty but could not get ahead on Satur­day.

Tanya Ro­rato, Elouise Bar­low and Belle Brad­ford worked well to­gether in the at­tack­ing end.

Kiara Keat­ing held her usual strength in the mid­court and Elise Wat­son, Ken­dall Pur­cell and Rhi­an­non Roe worked ex­tremely well in the de­fen­sive end, cre­at­ing nu­mer­ous turnovers.

Awards: Roe (Best on court), Ro­rato (SD Land­scap­ing), Keat­ing (Colony Inn) and Bar­low (Jer­ilderie Sports Club).

Demons’ B grade went down 43 to 38 against the Redeyes, mak­ing a late charge to fi­nals doubt­ful.

Jer­ilderie’s C grade started strongly and played a con­sis­tent four quar­ter game this week.

The de­fen­sive duo of Tanya Brad­ford and Sally Simp­son did a stel­lar job forc­ing many turnovers and were backed up by Loretta Walker and Tif­fany Sut­ton.

Awards: Brad­ford (Law­ton Ag Spray­ing), Walker (JNC), Simp­son (Colony Inn) and Annalise Bar­low (Jer­ilderie Sports Club).

The Un­der 17s had a con­vinc­ing win against Blighty with the fi­nal score 74 to 13.

From the sec­ond quar­ter the Dees mixed their po­si­tions up see­ing Anna Pin­nuck in cen­tre, Lauren Knight in WD and Skye Nash giv­ing the goals a go.

Best on court went to Lauren Knight show­ing her de­fen­sive skills.

Skye Nash took the Colony Inn award while Phoebe Aitken and Anna Pin­nuck also re­ceived awards.

The U13s were miss­ing their key de­fend­ers this week but that didn’t stop them try­ing hard for all four quar­ters.

Lucy Simp­son im­pressed af­ter be­ing thrown into GD, Brigit Hamil­ton and Mia Neessen tried hard to find space but Blighty were just too strong.

The U11s had a solid game against Blighty this week. Their foot­work is im­prov­ing each week and defence was strong with each and every player try­ing hard to get their hands up in front of the ball.
