State-of-the-art technology is utilised, including interactive whiteboards and computers in every classroom, a bank of 18 iPads and both fixed and mobile video conferencing units for virtual excursions as well as up to date robotics including WeDo, EV3 and Dash and Dot robots.

Parent and community input is greatly valued, whether it is as a classroom helper, sports coach or through the Parents and Citizens Association.
JPS students are supported by a dedicated Parents and Citizens Association which each year subsidises Kindergarten uniforms to the value of $150 per child and fund 50 per cent of all K-6 excursion costs.
