This Saturday night Michaela Jenke will be performing at the Berrigan Community Golf & Bowling Club from 7.30pm.
Michaela is a ‘country rock-alt country’ singer and is touring and promoting her new CD, Diamonds Outta Dirt.
Come along for a great night.
Tomorrow night the Berrigan Community Golf & Bowling Club’s Super Draw is at $17,000.
That is a great reason to head to the club this Thursday.
You must be a social member of the club and be present on the night of the draw between 7pm and 9pm to win.
There are 14 clubs in the draw, which takes place in Yanco, and the club name is drawn first, then a member number from the club.
There has been great support on the night, and you never know, you just might walk away with $17,000 in your hand.
Congratulations to Alan Lawrence on the achievement of 45 years employment with the Berrigan Shire Council.
As a young man, turning 18 the following month, Alan began his first day at the shire on February 13, 1973.
Many a wheel has turned in the past 45 years. Well done, Stump!
St Columba’s School has had a great start to the year, welcoming a lot of new faces for 2018.
The students have settled in well and are enjoying the intensive swimming program in the lead up to the first major event on the calendar, the Twilight Swimming Carnival.
The carnival will be held from 6.30pm this Friday at the Berrigan Pool, and the school welcomes all family and friends to attend and cheer on the children.
A barbecue tea will be available for a small cost.
If you are an older person looking for some light exercise to keep you fit, come to the Madill Centre every Monday and Wednesday from 10.15am to 10.45am.
Exercises are done sitting on a chair so they are not too strenuous, and what’s more, they are free.
For more information contact Beth Trewarne on 5885 2797.
The next meeting of the BDDA is Wednesday, February 28 at the Berrigan Community Golf & Bowling Club.
The BDDA are working with the Finley Chamber in organising a Monster Garage Sale.
If you would like to have input you are most welcome to come along to this month’s meeting.
