Ber­ri­gan swim­ming car­ni­val

Ber­ri­gan Pub­lic School held its an­nual swim­ming car­ni­val on Thurs­day, which was a twi­light event.

Mo­ma­long was the win­ning house, just edg­ing out Al­gudgerie for top hon­ours. Age swim­ming cham­pi­ons were: Ju­nior boy - Jeremy Packer, ju­nior girl - Zoe Owen; 11 years boy - Brody Pen­rose, 11 year girl - Jes­sica O’Dwyer; Se­nior boy - Caleb Thorn­ton, se­nior girl - Tess Mid­dle­ton.

The af­ter­noon was a great suc­cess with most stu­dents par­tic­i­pat­ing in events.

Ev­ery­one en­joyed a free sausage siz­zle sup­plied by the school’s P&C.

A big thank you to Emma Phillips for her fan­tas­tic or­gan­i­sa­tion of the car­ni­val and en­sur­ing it ran smoothly.
