Jesse Barker capped off his impressive day top scoring with 58 not out, with Ranji Oliver (28 not out) and Michael Roberts (18) also batting well.
In what could be a grand final preview, Tocumwal will host ladder leader Waaia for the final round of the home and away season on Saturday.
Tocumwal’s Division Two were unable to topple a strong Nathalia side in Tocumwal on Saturday.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat, losing their final wicket on the final ball of the innings to finish with 176 runs on the board.
Best bowlers for Tocumwal were Paul Mangion (4/27 off seven) and Darren White (2/32 off seven), with four bowlers taking one wicket each.
The Bloods were unable to match Nathalia’s score, being bowled out in the 34th over for 109.
Top scorers for Tocumwal were Paul Russell (26), Dean Cole (24) and Reilly Rennick (24).
In Under 12s cricket, Tocumwal Team One played Tocumwal Team Two to finish off the season with a local derby. In the end it was Team One who were the victors.
It has been a wonderful season for this group of youngsters.
